Nissan Achieves Highest Market Share in Europe for 15 Years

Nissan (NSANY) sold 547,000 vehicles across the region in 2010 (a 13% year-on-year increase) to secure a 3.1% overall share, up from 2.8% in 2009. This is the 3rd consecutive year of market share growth in Europe. This performance contributed to Nissan achieving record global sales of 4.08 million units in 2010, surpassing the 4 million mark for the first time and confirming Nissan as the second-largest Asian manufacturer.
