Reynolds American Declares 8.2% Dividend Increase

The board of directors of Reynolds American Inc.RAI today announced an 8.2 percent increase in the quarterly cash dividend on the company's common stock to $0.53 per share from $0.49 per share. This action increases the annual dividend rate to $2.12 per share from $1.96 per share, bringing it in line with the 80 dividend payout target that the company announced in December.
