RadioShack Reports EPS of $0.51 vs. $0.53

RadioShack Corporation RSH today reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended December 31, 2010. Total net sales and operating revenues for the 2010 fourth quarter increased 3.8% to $1.37 billion, compared to $1.32 billion for the 2009 fourth quarter. Net income for the fourth quarter decreased to $57.0 million, or $0.51 per diluted share, compared with net income of $75.7 million, or $0.60 per diluted share, reported for the same period last year. Comparable same-store sales for U.S. company-operated stores and kiosks increased 1.3% during the 2010 fourth quarter, compared with the 2009 fourth quarter.
