By 10:30 am, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 11.55 points, or 0.10%, to 12,094.23, while the broader Standard & Poor's 500 index had gained 2.60 points, or 0.20%. The NASDAQ composite index rose 21.83 points, or 0.80%.
Some of the narrow based indexes that are supporting the markets are Chinese Online Gaming Stocks, which have gained 4.1%, Dotcom Travel Stocks, up 4.1%, and Manufacturing Equipment and Testing Stocks, moving 3.8% higher as a group.
In Tickerspy's Chinese Online Gaming complex, NetEase.com Inc NTES had surged 9.3%. NTES posted a 25% jump in its Q4 profit.
The best performing Tickerspy Dotcom Travel stock has been priceline.com Incorporated PCLN, which was up 8.8%. PCLN issued upbeat Q1 earnings guidance.
FARO Technologies Inc FARO is today's leading Tickerspy's Manufacturing Equipment and Testing stock, gaining 22.1%. FARO reported a 27.1% y/y rise in its Q4 sales.
