Gasparino: Sources Inside J.P. Morgan Are "Still Confident There Will Be A Twitter Investment"

FOX Business Network (FBN) Senior Correspondent Charlie Gasparino reports that sources inside JPMorgan “are still confident at some point there will be a Twitter investment” but the investment “has hit a snag over regulatory concerns in recent days.” Excerpts from the report can be found below, courtesy of Fox Business Network.

On whether JPMorgan will invest in Twitter:

“Sources inside JPMorgan tell the FOX Business Network they are still confident about a Twitter investment. The head of Twitter threw cold water on the story but sources inside JPMorgan are still confident at some point there will be a Twitter investment. This investment has hit a snag over regulatory concerns in recent days. There are two regulatory concerns; in Washington people tell me that depending on how this investment is made, it may foul on the Volcker rule. There are also private placement rules. JPMorgan will not confirm or deny.”
