Humana Subsidiary Acquires Cascade Occupational Medicine in Portland

Concentra, a subsidiary of Humana HUM, announced today it has expanded its presence in the Portland, Ore. market with the acquisition of the assets of Cascade Occupational Medicine Physicians, Inc. , which includes five medical centers. Following completion of the transaction, Concentra gains a larger footprint in the Portland market, with two COMPI medical centers in Hillsboro and Portland operating as Concentra Urgent Care. These centers offer occupational health services and urgent care, as well as physical therapy, preventive, wellness, and health education services to current and new patients and employers. The operations of three other COMPI medical centers in Tualatin, Tigard, and the Swan Island section of Portland, respectively, were consolidated into Concentra Urgent Care's two existing centers in Swan Island and Lake Oswego.
