Zale Announces Conclusion of SEC Investigation

Zale Corporation ZLC today announced that the staff of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission advised the Company that it has completed its investigation of Zale Corporation and does not intend to recommend any enforcement action against the Company. The SEC investigation commenced in October 2009 and was previously disclosed in the Company's public filings.
