Clearing Up Confusion In Altria This Morning (MO)

Shares of Altria MO could see some potential confusion this morning, as there is a New York Times headline on Yahoo Finance that the company is in talks to buy UST for $10 billion. The date of the article is April 17, yesterday, but when the article is clicked on, it has a September 2008 article date. The problem here is that Altria already owns UST. Altria completed the acquisition on January 6, 2009. At last check, shares were off 26 cents to $26.75, a loss of nearly 1%.
