Highwoods Properties Announces Termination of Proposed Development Project in Kansas City

Highwoods Properties, Inc. HIW today announced that its proposed $58 million, government incentive-free, build-to-suit for the law firm of Polsinelli Shughart PC in Kansas City has been terminated by the law firm. Given that the regulatory approvals necessary for the project have not yet been obtained, Polsinelli Shughart has informed the Company that it has elected to pursue recently arisen proposals at other locations in Missouri and Kansas.
