Nordstrom April Same-Store Sales up 7.6%

Nordstrom, Inc. JWN today reported a 7.6 percent increase in same-store sales for the four-week period ended April 30, 2011 compared with the four-week period ended May 1, 2010. Preliminary total retail sales of $726 million for April 2011 increased 14.2 percent compared with total retail sales of $636 million for the same period in fiscal 2010.
