Prospect Capital Corporation Prices Public Offering for 10M Shares of Common Stock at $10.15/Share

Prospect Capital Corporation PSEC announced today the pricing of an underwritten public offering of 10,000,000 shares of its common stock at a price to the public of $10.15 per share. The public offering is expected to close on or about June 24, 2011, subject to customary closing conditions. Barclays Capital Inc. is acting as sole book-running manager in this offering and Prospect has granted the underwriter a 30-day option to purchase up to 1,500,000 additional shares.
