McGraw-Hill Board Authorizes New 50M Share Repurchase Program

The McGraw-Hill Companies MHP today announced that its Board of Directors has authorized a new stock repurchase program for up to 50 million shares, or approximately 17% of the Company's outstanding shares. The new share repurchase authorization follows a 45 million share repurchase authorization commenced in January 2007. Thus far in 2011, McGraw-Hill has repurchased approximately 7.7 million shares under the 2007 authorization, leaving approximately 700,000 shares remaining.
