Stewart Enterprises, Inc. Purchases Desert View Funeral Home and Memorial Park in Victorville, Calif.

Stewart Enterprises, Inc. STEI reported today that it has purchased Desert View Funeral Home and Memorial Park in Victorville, Calif. "We are pleased to be able to strengthen our ability to serve families in this southern California market," said President and Chief Executive Officer Tom Kitchen. As part of its growth strategy, the Company is identifying acquisition candidates that include significant cemetery, funeral home and preneed sales opportunities for the traditional and cremation consumer. "Desert View Funeral Home and Memorial Park is an attractive combination operation that fits our business model, complements our nearby locations and thereby leverages our existing local infrastructure.
