Costco Reports 14% Rise In June Same-Store Sales

Costco Wholesale Corp COST reported a 14% rise in its June sales at stores open at least a year. Costco's total sales for the five-week period ending July 3 surged 18% to $8.69 billion. Its US same-store sales climbed 12%, while growth at the international business came in at 18%. Analysts were expecting same-store sales to increase 12.7%.
