Pervasive Software Announces Pervasive WebDI Live on Microsoft Windows Azure Marketplace

Pervasive Software Inc. PVSW today announced that Pervasive® WebDI, an Electronic Document Interchange service application built on Microsoft's® Windows Azure, is one of the first applications selected and validated to go live on the Windows Azure Marketplace. The Windows Azure Marketplace is an eCommerce-enabled cloud store for high quality information such as cloud applications and services, which Microsoft announced in conjunction with the Microsoft World Partner Conference taking place in Los Angeles, CA, July 10-14. Pervasive's WebDI is available immediately and provides Windows Azure Marketplace community members with an application that streamlines B2B document exchange in industries such as oil and gas, manufacturing, healthcare and construction. Pervasive WebDI is a .NET service running entirely on the Windows Azure platform and already has more than 500 customers on Windows Azure, including many of the largest oil and gas companies in the world. Pervasive is also a longtime Microsoft partner and has received Microsoft Gold Independent Software Vendor Competency status. “Customers are already experiencing the value of Pervasive WebDI,” said Adam Benzion, director of Windows Azure partner strategy, at Microsoft. “Through the Windows Azure Marketplace, customers can now easily access Pervasive WebDI.
