By 10:30 am, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 55.48 points, or 0.44%, to 12,625.68, while the broader Standard & Poor's 500 index had dropped 6.39 points, or 0.48%. The NASDAQ composite index fell 12.49 points, or 0.44%.
Some of the narrow based indexes that are still afloat in the markets are Social Networking Stocks, which have gained 1.9%, Dotcom Travel Stocks, up 1.1%, and Payday Lender and Pawnshop Stocks, moving 1.0% higher as a group.
In Tickerspy's Social Networking complex, Quepasa Corporation QPSA had surged 6.2%. QPSA announced its plans to buy Insider Guides Inc, which runs www.myyearbook.com.
The best performing Tickerspy Dotcom Travel stock has been Orbitz Worldwide Inc OWW, which was up 5.9%. OWW's trailing-twelve-month revenue is $755.26 million.
EZCORP Inc EZPW is today's leading Tickerspy's Payday Lender and Pawnshop stock, gaining 2.7%. EZPW reported a 33% rise in its Q2 profit.
