PAETEC Awarded Federal Government GSA Local Services Acquisition Contract

PAETEC Holding Corp. PAET and its subsidiaries announced today that the General Services Administration of the U.S. Federal Government has awarded it a contract for a period of five years to provide voice, Internet and data services. The contract, called RLTC (Regional and Local Telephony Contract), represents multi-million dollar potential revenue annually, covering GSA's Region 2 including New York and New Jersey. GSA is a federal procurement and property management agency created to improve government efficiency and help federal agencies better serve the public. As a result of this agreement, PAETEC has the opportunity to provide its leading telecommunications services to federal workers located in approximately 540 government-owned buildings and leased locations such as federal courts, IRS and Social Security offices, or military facilities. PAETEC and subsidiaries also currently have several contracts with GSA in Regions 3, 5, and 9 including Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Ohio, Michigan, and California.
