FBR & Co. Announces New NASDAQ Ticker FBRC Effective Monday, August 1, 2011

FBR & Co. FBCM announced today that its common stock will begin trading under the ticker FBRC as of August 1, 2011. Trading of the Company's stock will not be interrupted and the stock history will seamlessly reflect the Company's prior results. This change in the ticker symbol aligns more closely with the recent shareholder approved name change from FBR Capital Markets Corporation to FBR & Co.
