General Dynamics Awarded U.S. Coast Guard Information Technology Support Services Blanket Purchase Agreement for $11M

General Dynamics Information Technology, a business unit of General Dynamics GD, was recently awarded a blanket purchase agreement to provide information technology support services to the U.S. Coast Guard Force Readiness Command. The agreement has a ceiling value of $11 million over a five-year period. General Dynamics will provide FORCECOM with information technology (IT) and simulator support services for non-standard workstations and systems. Non-standard workstations are customized and stand-alone from the overall enterprise, and support command, control, communications, computers and intelligence systems, navigational, telecommunications and ship board sensors. Work will be performed in Petaluma, Calif.; Elizabeth City, N.C.; Yorktown, Va.; Charleston, S.C.; and Washington, D.C. General Dynamics plans to hire 17 additional employees to support this contract.
