Fluor AMEC Joint Venture Reaches Final Agreement on Canadian Copper-Gold Mine Project

Fluor Corporation FLR announced today that British Columbia Mining Joint Venture, a 50:50 joint venture between Fluor Canada Ltd and AMEC Americas Limited, reached a final agreement with Terrane Metals Corp., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Thompson Creek Metals Company TC to complete engineering, procurement and construction management for Terrane's 100 percent-owned Mt. Milligan copper-gold project. Fluor booked approximately $375 million for the project in the second quarter of 2011. Initial work on the project began last year.
