IHS Receives Early Termination of HSR Waiting Period for Seismic Micro-Technology Acquisition

IHS Inc. IHS has received notice from the Federal Trade Commission granting early termination of the waiting period under the Hart Scott Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976 for its acquisition of Seismic Micro-Technology and is working to close the transaction as quickly as possible. IHS will host a conference call and webcast to discuss the SMT acquisition as soon as the transaction has closed, which could be as early as later this week. IHS will send details on the timing of the call once they have been finalized.
