According to Boy Genius Report, the first Ice Cream Sandwich devices could launch in October, to compete with the launch of the Apple AAPL iPhone 5. Boy Genius has received information from a source close to Google's plans and said the company does not want customers to be “drooling over the iPhone 5” when their contracts end up. Ice Cream Sandwich is the new Android operating system.
