AT&T T has hired bankers to advise it on selling assets, to try to win over government approval for its planned purchase of T-Mobile USA. How about getting rid of those annoying T-Mobile commercials? That might be a good way to start. France's economy came to a halt in the second quarter. But they still have snooty citizens, so they got that goin' for them, which is nice. The U.S. Postal Service is considering cutting as many as 120,000 jobs due to fiscal problems. Great. Make postal workers even more angry. This will end well.
