Global Crossing Announces Government Certification for PSN Services

Global Crossing Limited GLBC today announced that its subsidiary, Global Crossing Telecommunications Limited has received full Public Service Network certification from the UK Cabinet Office for delivery of its Government Conveyance Network and PSN Internet Protocol Virtual Private Network (IP-VPN) services to the Public Sector. The services have been named as PSN compliant and are in line with the standards required for PSN, an initiative that is set to reduce public sector network costs 500 million pounds Sterling by 2013.
