Kirkland Andrews Joins NRG as Chief Financial Officer

Kirkland B. Andrews will join NRG Energy, Inc. NRG as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective September 6, from Deutsche Bank Securities, where he served as Managing Director and Co-Head of Power and Utilities–Americas. Andrews succeeds Christian Schade who, as previously announced, is leaving NRG to return to the healthcare industry as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Omthera Pharmaceuticals Inc.
