45,000 Verizon Workers to Return to Work by Tuesday

About 45,000 Verizon Communications VZ employees are set to end a two-week strike and return to work by Tuesday, under an agreement reached Saturday. Verizon agreed to extend the old contract indefinitely while it bargains with unions representing technicians and customer service workers for a new one.
