Southwest Airlines Reports 2.5% Rise In November Traffic

Southwest Airlines Co LUV reported a 2.5% rise in its total November traffic. Southwest Airlines' traffic for the period climbed to more than 8.28 billion revenue passenger miles, versus 8.07 billion revenue passenger miles, in the year-earlier period. Its total November capacity gained 0.7% y/y to 10.14 billion available seat miles. Southwest Airlines' load factor surged to 81.6% versus 80.2%. Southwest Airlines shares gained 0.71% to $8.53 in after-hours trading.
