Southwest Airlines Reports Decline In February Load Factor

Southwest Airlines Co LUV reported a drop in its February load factor. Southwest Airlines' load factor declined to 75.2%, versus a combined load factor of 76.9%, in the year-earlier period. It flew 7.2 billion revenue passenger miles in the month, up from 7 billion, in the year-ago period. Southwest Airlines shares closed at $8.60 yesterday.
