Lockheed Martin Gets Contract with Ceiling $4.6B

The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) has chosen Lockheed Martin LMT to manage the transformation of the Department of Defense's global data network.  The work will take place under an innovative, seven-year Global Systems Management Operations (GSM-O) contract. The contract would run for three years and includes two two−year options, with a total contract ceiling of $4.6 billion. The contract includes a mix of firm-fixed-price, fixed-price with incentive, cost-plus-incentive-fee, cost-plus and fixed-fee pricing plans. GSM-O is headquartered at Fort Meade, Md., with multiple support locations worldwide.
