AccentCare Names Jeffrey S. Sherman CFO

AccentCare, one of the nation's largest post-acute healthcare companies, today announced the appointment of Jeffrey S. Sherman as chief financial officer, effective September 16, 2013. Mr. Sherman has more than 25 years of experience in hospital-based and corporate healthcare finance, most recently as executive vice president and chief financial officer of LifePoint Hospitals LPNT. Prior to joining LifePoint in April 2009, Mr. Sherman served as vice president and treasurer of Tenet Healthcare, where he managed all aspects of corporate finance, including cash flow management and capital structure, and was responsible for risk management. From 1990 to 2009, he worked in a variety of capacities at Tenet and its predecessor company. Mr. Sherman earned his M.B.A. at the University of Southern California and his B.S. from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
