Protective Life PL reached a new 52-week high of $69.285 after Dai-ichi Life DCNSF agreed to buy Protective Life for $70 per share. Delta Air Lines DAL shares surged 1.29% to touch a new 52-week high of $41.68. Delta Air shares have jumped 134.34% over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has gained 19.60% in the same period.
