Insight Public Sector, a division of Insight Enterprises, Inc. NSIT, a leading worldwide technology provider of hardware, software and service solutions, announced that it has been awarded a contract as part of NASA's $20 billion Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) V. The contract for hardware, software and related services creates an opportunity for Insight to work with all federal agencies and government contractors in addition to all NASA centers.
"Insight is ready to work hand-in-hand with U.S. Federal Government agencies to develop solutions, services and technology-driven approaches to drive exceptional levels of efficiency," said Steve Dodenhoff, President Insight U.S. "Working with products from leading technology manufacturers, our Insight team intends to make the best use of technology to solve our nation's complex challenges."
The SEWP V contract enables Insight to offer its robust solutions for data centers and virtualization, data protection, mobility, cloud, and a full spectrum of hardware, software and IT services. The contract was awarded as part of NASA's identification of vendors in Group D that can now provide state-of-the-art information and computer technologies, high-end scientific and engineering processing capabilities, and network equipment and peripherals to federal agencies.
"We develop opportunities like this to broaden our reach and apply our experience designing integrated approaches to IT, and this connection is opening an incredible new world of possibilities for efficient and intelligent IT solutions," Dodenhoff said.
