World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. WWE fans are gearing up for WrestleMania 33 on Sunday in Orlando. This year’s “Super Bowl of wrestling” will likely be one of the biggest events in WWE history.
Last year, WWE announced record-breaking WrestleMania attendance of 101,763 in AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. WrestleMania 32 broke the long-standing WWE attendance record of 93,173 set at WrestleMania 3 way back in 1987.

At the time, the WrestleMania 3 audience represented the largest recorded attendance of any live indoor event in North American history. Ticket sales exceeded $1.6 million for the event. However, even adjusting those 1987 ticket sales for inflation, the $3.5 million WWE grossed from WrestleMania 3 pales in comparison to the ticket sales of recent WrestleManias.
Here’s a look at the five highest-grossing WrestleMania events of all-time.
