Norman Hames, President And COO -West Operations at Radnet RDNT, made a large insider sell on October 1, according to a new SEC filing.

What Happened: A Form 4 filing from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Friday showed that Hames sold 35,000 shares of Radnet at prices ranging from $28.29 to $28.85. The total transaction amounted to $999,987.

Following the transaction, Hames still owns 267,915 shares of the company, worth $7,707,914.

Radnet shares are trading down 0.38% at $28.77 at the time of this writing on Tuesday morning.

The Importance of Insider Transactions

Insider transactions shouldn't be used primarily to make an investing decision, however, they can be an important factor for an investor to consider.
