Marriott Opens Hotel In Barranquilla, Colombia

Marriott International Inc MAR launched Barranquilla Marriott Hotel in Colombia's Barranquilla city.
The 191 spacious guest rooms and nine suites include features reflecting the tropical dry forest vegetation typical for the area.
Through Marriott's partnership with TED, guests will have access to specially curated in-room TED content.
Nestled in the Caribbean Coast, Barranquilla is also known as "The Golden Gate of Colombia" and is an important tourist destination.
Barranquilla Marriott Hotel will be included in the Marriott Bonvoy travel program, allowing members to earn and redeem points for their stay at the new hotel.
Price Action: MAR shares are trading higher 2.07% at $162.08 on the last check Wednesday.
