McDonald's Appoints New Board Members

McDonald's Corp MCD announced the retirement of Sheila A. Penrose from its Board of Directors, effective September 30, 2022.
The company also announced the election of Tony Capuano, CEO of Marriott International MAR; Jennifer Taubert, EVP and Worldwide Chairman, Pharmaceuticals at Johnson & Johnson JNJ; and Amy Weaver, CFO, Salesforce, Inc. CRM, to its Board.
Capuano, Taubert, and Weaver's election will be effective October 1, 2022.

McDonald's has nearly 40,000 locations in over 100 countries. Approximately 95% of McDonald's restaurants worldwide are owned and operated by independent local business owners.
Price Action: MCD shares are trading lower by 0.78% at $264.45 in premarket on the last check Monday.
