Apple Inc.’s AAPL iPhone 14 series' users are reportedly facing a SIM bug.
What Happened: The Apple iOS 16 bug is affecting iPhone 14 users with a ‘Sim Not Supported’ message showing up on their devices.
The Cupertino-based tech giant acknowledged that iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max users may see the “Sim Not Supported” alert on their devices.
Soon after the pop-up message, the iPhone model may entirely freeze, according to the memo seen by MacRumors.
Apple is investigating the issue but has stated it’s not a hardware problem. The company further asked customers to keep the software up to date.

f the pop-up message appears, Apple advises customers to wait some time to see if it disappears automatically. If not, customers should not attempt to restore the device, the company emphasized this in the memo. Instead, they should visit an Apple Store or authorized service provider and request technical assistance.
Why It’s Important: This isn’t the first time Apple users have faced bug-related issues with iPhone 14 models.
Earlier, iPhone 14 experienced a number of issues including problems with camera vibrations. The issue affected social media apps like Snap Inc.’s SNAP Snapchat, TikTok, and Meta Platforms Inc. META Instagram and Facebook.
Before that, Apple investigated a bug that caused iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone Pro Max models to freeze while transferring data from an older iPhone.
