Putin's Army 'Struggling With The Military Realities' In Ukraine: UK Intelligence

Russian President Vladimir Putin's troops fighting his war in Ukraine are "struggling with the military realities" in the Luhansk region, as per U.K.'s Intelligence.

What Happened: Britain's Ministry of Defence has suggested in its daily intelligence report on the Ukraine war suggested that the Russian army is struggling to maintain "a credible defense" along part of its front line.

In a tweet on Monday, the ministry said there have been "intense artillery exchanges" in Luhansk's Svatove area over the past week and it appears to be a "vulnerable flank" of Moscow.

This came after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in his late-night speech, said Russia had launched nearly 400 missiles in the country's east on Sunday.

“In the Luhansk region, we are slowly moving forward while fighting. As of now, there have been almost 400 artillery attacks in the east since the start of the day,” Zelenskyy said.

Meanwhile, after an alleged video of Ukrainian soldiers executing more than 10 Russian prisoners of war in Ukraine started circulating on the internet, the Kremlin said it would do everything to bring to justice those responsible for it.

“There is no doubt that Russia itself will be looking for the perpetrators of this crime. They must be found and punished,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told media, reported Reuters.
