Actress and political activist Alyssa Milano recently boasted about trading in a Tesla for a Volkswagen electric vehicle. She said on Twitter that it was to defy "hate and white supremacy" and businesses buying ads on Twitter.
I gave back my Tesla.

I bought the VW ev.
I love it.
I’m not sure how advertisers can buy space on Twitter. Publicly traded company’s products being pushed in alignment with hate and white supremacy doesn’t seem to be a winning business model.
Reacting to her comment on white supremacy, the Twitter community ripped into Milano, saying Volkswagen was engineered and built in Nazi Germany.
Many of them were quick to point out Milano's error.
Alyssa Milano didn’t like the Twitter accounts Elon Musk is allowing on his platform, so she dumped her Tesla and replaced it with a vehicle made by a company founded by literal Nazis because she’s fighting white supremacy. I’ve got nothing.

So brave.

“Originally operated by the German Labor Front, a Nazi organization, Volkswagen was headquartered in Wolfsburg, Germany. In addition to his ambitious campaign to build a network of autobahns and limited access highways across Germany, Hitler’s pet project.” https://t.co/f5UnPjBOj1 pic.twitter.com/Wsking7OKH
Following the bashing of Milano and all the trolls, Tesla CEO Elon Musk reacted with a laughing smile emoji.
🤣💯

Last week, Musk announced that a general amnesty for all the suspended accounts would begin soon.
Musk states that the amnesty is for those suspended accounts that have "not broken the law or engaged in egregious spam."
