- Shipping company A.P. Moller Maersk AMKBY has appointed Vincent Clerc as the new Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2023.

- "The strong tail winds that benefited the supply chain industries during the pandemic are coming to an end," said Chair Robert M. Uggla.
- "With an increasingly challenging outlook, the Board believes Vincent holds the right experience and capabilities as CEO to pursue and oversee Maersk's strategic and organizational development in the years to come."
- Maersk operates in more than 130 countries with over 100,000 employees.
- Price Action: AMKBY shares closed higher by 2.84% at $10.50 on Friday.
