Bath & Body Works Adds New Board Member: 'He Brings Deep Knowledge Of The Global Consumer Products Industry'

  • Bath & Body Works Inc BBWI has appointed Steve Voskuil, currently Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at The Hershey Company HSY, as a new independent member of its Board of Directors.

  • Voskuil has over 30 years of experience, bringing global consumer products expertise and strong financial and capital allocation experience.

  • Voskuil’s appointment to the Bath & Body Works Board follows the recently announced appointment of Lucy Brady, President, Grocery & Snacks at Conagra Brands CAG, as an independent director.

  • With these two new directors, the Board now comprises 12 directors, 11 of whom are independent and seven of whom are members of diverse communities: female, people of color and/or LGBTQIA+.

  • "He brings deep knowledge of the global consumer products industry as well as substantial expertise in leading financial operations that spans from oversight of capital allocation and investment to technology infrastructure transformation," said board Chair Sarah Nash.

  • Voskuil and Brady's appointments come weeks after Third Point, which owns a 6% stake in the company, said it might push for board seats, Reuters reported.

  • Price Action: BBWI shares are trading higher by 2.31% at $41.72 on the last check Wednesday.
