After Donald Trump made controversial comments about Hillary Clinton and many others in his upcoming book, a Democrat strategist shared a letter from 2000 showing Trump praising Clinton.
What Happened: American strategist Adam Parkhomenko, on Thursday, shared Trump's letter from 23 years ago on Twitter, written to Clinton, when she was elected as the first female senator from New York.

"Donald Trump is releasing a book titled Letters to Trump in which he states that everyone whom sent him letters ‘kissed my a**.' So with that I would like to share a letter I have that Donald Trump sent to Hillary Clinton kissing her a**," Parkhomenko wrote.
The digitally typed letter from Trump to Clinton read, "Congratulations on your well-deserved victory! I know you will do a great job in Washington, and I [am] looking forward to having you represent us there for the next six years," with a handwritten "great going" beside the sender's signature.
Promoting his forthcoming book of letters, the former president said the readers are “going to see a very fascinating life” in his book "Letters to Trump," which contains 150 missives from figures, including Kim Jong Un, Queen Elizabeth II, Princess Diana, Oprah Winfrey, Hillary Clinton and many others.
“I knew them all – and every one of them kissed my a**, and now I only have half of them kissing my a**,” Trump said.
His comments also drew flak from Princess Diana's brother Charles Spencer, who heavily criticized Trump for his abrasive comments. "The one time she mentioned him to me – when he was using her good name to sell some real estate in New York – she clearly viewed him as worse than an anal fissure," Spencer wrote on Twitter.
