Less than 24 hours after an analyst suggested that Apple Inc.’s AAPL highly-rumored and anticipated 27-inch Mini LED project is postponed indefinitely, Ming-Chi Kuo shared his predictions stating otherwise.
What Happened: On Tuesday, Kuo, an analyst at TF International Securities and popular Apple leaker, took to Twitter to share an update on the rumored 27-inch Apple Studio Display.
According to Kuo, the display is slated for mass production in 2024 or the first quarter of 2025.
The famous supply-chain sleuth said the highly-awaited display will come with Mini LED technology and “thinner panel thickness, a narrower bezel, and extended product lifespan.”
Why It’s Important: Earlier, analyst Ross Young said that the Tim Cook-led company shipped “some panels” for this display last year but has since reportedly “killed off” the project for the time being, reported 9To5Mac.
The standalone 27-inch display was rumored to launch in the Summer of last year but has faced several delays since then.
