Earlier this month, former President Donald Trump filed a $500 million lawsuit against his former lawyer Michael Cohen in a federal court in Florida for revealing the former’s confidences and "spreading falsehoods."
Last week, Donald Trump’s niece Mary Trump called the lawsuit against Cohen “completely laughable” during her podcast. CNN political analyst Brian Karem, who joined the podcast as a guest, agreed, explaining that Cohen wouldn't be intimidated but that the lawsuit would, however, be “looked upon by others as an intimidating factor, to keep them from testifying.”
“Donald Trump is a foul-mouth, empty-headed bully and the only way to stand up to him is to stand up to him and flip him off and flick him in the nose,” Karem added.
During the podcast, Mary Trump, a psychologist, also shared that she felt her uncle had held up well in court. Karem agreed, saying, “He just seems so strong, especially the part where he said to people in that they were crying for him. I said, 'No pal, those were tears of joy. You mistook it.'”
Earlier this month, the former president turned himself into a New York court to face criminal charges related to a hush money payment Cohen had made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels.
