The Tesla Inc TSLA Model Y (which recently received more price cuts) continues to assert its dominance in Norway's electric vehicle market, with sales data from the first four months of 2023 revealing the electric SUV outsold its five closest competitors combined.
Norway leads the world in electric vehicle adoption with approximately 83% of the market share belonging to pure electric vehicles.

In April 2023 alone, the Model Y claimed first place with 918 sales, while the Volkswagen ID.4 trailed behind in second place with 573 units and the ID.BUZZ took third place with 525.
Model Y's success extends beyond April, as cumulative sales data from January to April underscore its overwhelming advantage in the market.
