The president is contesting for a second term, with Vice President Kamala Harris as his running mate.
Biden launched his campaign in late April as he made the announcement through a video. The campaign video was promoted with the tagline "Let's finish the job!"
Mary Trump, who is pro-Democratic and a scathing critic of her uncle, retweeted Biden's tweet with “cool” and "fire" emojis.

Why It's Important: Mary Trump, a psychologist by profession, is a podcast host as well. Through her tweets, substack posts, "The Mary Trump Show" podcasts and her many appearances on mainstream and other media channels, she has openly criticized her uncle and his followers.
In a recent podcast, she slammed the media's willingness to normalize Donald Trump after the latter's CNN townhall, where he was at his boisterous best, shutting down the moderator and repeating his assertion that the 2020 elections were rigged.
Mary Trump also warned against normalizing his followers, saying that it could land America in real trouble.
Elon Musk Responds: Dogecoin co-founder Bill Markus, who goes by the pseudonym Shibetoshi Nakamoto slammed Biden's tweet on donations and said, "Okay, credit where credit is due, this was a solid s***t post."
Tesla CEO Elon Musk responded to Markus' tweet. "True," he said.
