Former Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson on Tuesday premiered the fifth episode of his Twitter show hours after President Joe Biden‘s son, Hunter Biden, entered a plea deal with the Department of Justice.

What Happened: Carlson, who was fired from Fox News, delved into the latest developments surrounding Hunter's legal troubles.

The charges against the incumbent president's son involve failure to pay income taxes and unlawful firearm possession.

“As far as Merrick Garland’s Justice Department is concerned, Hunter Biden is done,” Carlson said, suggesting that there will not be any additional investigation into more severe allegations against Hunter.

“There was no predawn raid carried live simultaneously on CNN. There was no perp walk, no handcuffs, no press conference."

“Above all, there was no felony,” Carlson added.

“Hunter Biden, who broke federal gun laws, can still carry a gun. It’s like it all never happened.”

Carlson said the Justice Department “just baptized Hunter Biden. A lifetime of sins washed away in an instant.”

The former news anchor called Hunter Biden a "foreign agent." He sold access to his father and other lawmakers in various countries, including China and Ukraine. This fact is indisputable, and the FBI has been aware of it for an extended period, he said.

Meanwhile, former president Donald Trump also labeled Hunter Biden's plea as a massive cover-up.
