U.S. stocks traded higher, with the Dow Joned gaining around 100 points on Tuesday. Here are some big stocks recording gains in today’s session.

  • American Equity Investment Life Holding Company AEL shares rose 17.6% to $53.02 after the company announced it has received a $55 per share acquisition proposal from Brookfield Reinsurance.
  • Astrotech Corporation ASTC climbed 13.5% to $12.95. Astrotech 13D filing showed BML Investment Partners, L.P. increased stake in the company to 13%.
  • Enovix Corporation ENVX rose 12.1% to $14.71 after the company announced it received a purchase order to produce battery cells for the U.S. Army.
  • WeWork Inc. WE jumped 11.1% to $0.2601.
  • Global Blue Group Holding AG GB gained 10.1% to $4.46.
  • Edgewise Therapeutics, Inc. EWTX climbed 9.9% to $7.54 as the company released 12-month topline results from the ARCH study, an open-label, single-center study assessing EDG-5506 in adults with Becker Muscular Dystrophy (BMD).
  • Ispire Technology Inc. ISPR gained 9.6% to $8.52 after the company announced it raised roughly $8 million in a private placement of common stock.
  • Hut 8 Mining Corp. HUT rose 9.1% to $2.90.
  • Unity Software Inc. U rose 9.2% to $40.10 after the company announced a new AI marketplace and Wells Fargo initiated coverage on the stock with an Overweight rating and $48 price target.
  • Marathon Digital Holdings, Inc. MARA gained 8.9% to $12.84.
  • Aurora Innovation, Inc. AUR climbed 8.6% to $2.39.
  • Origin Materials, Inc. ORGN rose 8.3% to $4.46.
  • CIRCOR International, Inc. CIR rose 8.2% to $51.85 after the company announced it accepted a proposal from KKR to increase the price of its previously announced definitive merger agreement from $49 to $51 per common share in cash.
  • Stratasys Ltd. SSYS gained 7.8% to $17.50. Nano Dimension increased special tender offer price for Stratasys shares to $20.05/share in cash and extended offer period to July 24.
  • Hawaiian Holdings, Inc. HA surged 7.6% to $9.26.
  • NIO Inc. NIO rose 6.2% to $8.92. Shares of Chinese stocks traded higher after Chinese premier Li Qiang said the country is still on track to reach its 5% annual growth target.
