Delta raised its second quarter and 2023 fiscal year guidance on Tuesday in the company's Investor Day presentation. The company forecast adjusted earnings per share of $2.25 to $2.50 for the second quarter, up from a previous range of $2 to $2.25 a share.
Delta CEO, Ed Bastian, said the company’s second-quarter earnings could be its highest ever for the April-June period and commented on CNBC's "SquakBox", “The demand as you know, as anyone that’s traveling knows, is off the chain.”
