Netflix has updated its Profile Transfer feature to help users transfer their complete watch history from one account to another, without forcing users to create a new account. Essentially, you can carry your preferences to an existing account if your friend booted you out of their shared Netflix Inc. NFLX one.
"Starting today, the Profile Transfer feature has been updated to allow transfers to an existing account (instead of requiring a new account)," Netflix said in a blog post.

Here's How Netflix Profile Transfer Works
Without much ado, here's how to transfer your Netflix profile to a different account:
- Login to the Netflix account you want to transfer out your profile from.
- Tap on the profile icon and then the "Transfer Profile" option.
- Now, select the account you transfer the profile to – you can either transfer it to a new account or an existing one.
- If you are transferring to a new account, you will have to sign up for one while transferring.
- If you are transferring to an existing account, you will need to sign in with the email address and password to begin the transfer.
- Tap on "Transfer Profile" and you're done.
